You very rarely see Roger W. Smith replica watches come up for sale online. If fact, we've only ever seen it happen once before. The fake watch in question? The very first Series 2 the Englishman ever made. Now, a second early Series 2 has appeared online, and once again its been secured by the folks from The fake watch Xchange, a relatively young online platform with a focus on high and independent watchmaking (and with some good connections it seems). Oh, and they're also selling one of the first Daniels Anniversary replica watches too. Both replica watches are fresh to market and come from separate consigners.

The Series 2 is Roger Smith's second fake watch (as you could probably guess), and it has nothing to do with that new smartwatch from Apple. This particular Series 2, the seventh produced, was completed in 2006 and was part of the first batch of nine replica watches delivered to clients in 2007. The Series 2 is a 38mm fake watch with hours, minutes, and subsidiary seconds at six o'clock, plus a power-reserve indicator at 10 o'clock. It also features some impressive guilloché work ?Roger's signature ?brilliantly highlighting core elements on the dial. Number seven was sent back to Roger Smith's atelier several years ago, and its co-axial escapement has been revised and upgraded to Roger's new single wheel design.

As far as we can tell, this is the first time a Daniels Anniversary has ever been available online, ever. A limited edition of just 35 pieces, made to celebrate the 35th anniversary of George Daniels inventing the co-axial escapement, it was designed by Daniels shortly before his death and made by Roger Smith in the Englishman's atelier. The fake watch measures 40mm and is presented in an 18k yellow gold case, with straight lugs and a rounded stepped bezel. This early example, the fourth in the series, was completed in April 2010 and is one of the very few signed by both Roger Smith and George Daniels himself. The English Master passed away in 2011, and it's tough to overstate how special it is to have his signature on the papers. Seriously.
